Awards for Young Musicians (AYM)
Awards for Young Musicians (AYM) is delighted to announce that 76 of the UK’s most talented young musicians have received awards totalling £55,000 to support their musical development. Leah is a ten year old violinist from Newcastle and her award will help her purchase a new violin.  She says: ‘When I grow up I would like to be an international violinist – music is important to me because I love the sound and I want to make people enjoy my music.’

Koch Foundation Award: a Trip to Vienna 3 - 8 April 2009
For students and teachers of students over the age of 18. This is an opportunity to be part of a chamber orchestra of players from all over Europe and to attend the 2009 ESTA International Conference in Vienna 3 - 8 April 2009 completely free of charge. Deadline for entries 30 September 2008.
